As a Phillies fan, I watched him hit that walkoff live and thought it was incredible, even though I was rooting for the Mariners. Little did I know what would happen a few weeks later…

I don’t think it would have mattered. Thomson only made the move because Alvarez does worse against lefty pitchers. With Wheeler being right handed and Alvarez being clutch, the outcome would have likely been the same.

Yeah. As an Astros fan I'm inclined to say 3 of the Alvarez homers, but going oppo against a 100 mph degrom fastball is probably one of the hardest things to do in baseball.
