I love how KZbin is recommending these again, it's a nostalgia trip hearing the old Alpha ambient sounds, zombies, and the old slow inventory system. I think some people forget how much the game has improved cause development felt so slow and half the updates immediately broke certain items or game mechanics while not fixing previous glitches, at a couple of points it was 95% unplayable, but it's honestly a lot smoother now.

yea when you played in alpha like 2014 you really appreciate how polished the game is now. I honestly did enjoy it back in 2014 even though there was only 2 main guns, zombies that can run through doors, and falling from 2 feet and breaking your legs. Good times.

Hey Frankie, just two things that might help you: 1. Your Gun was constantly on 100m Zeroing so that could have added to the inaccurate fire of your m4 ;) and 2. When you got the Fire Axe out and your Guys holds it right in front of his Face he will swing to the right instead of straight so make sure to press Space in that case so you hit your Targets ;)

Hi dude, Remember a simple DayZ tip: apples are your friend. Just head into smaller towns and pick apples from trees around the house front/back yards. Good luck, stay alive, avoid contact with other players.

Stalked a guy in BP for more than 30 minutes. I saw him kill many and my only goal was to kill HIM. I was a fresh spawn so no guns, just an axe. When the oportunity came I rushed in. I hit him once but then he turned around. He emptied his magazine hitting me many times but not enough. I axed him again and he died. But the damage he had done was too great and I died just a second after. So basicly we killed each other. But I revenged atleast 6 people so I felt it as a great success! It was just a moment I will not forget.

Quick tip Frankie, when holding the axe, make sure it isn't being held at the ready (vertically in front of you) because it will hit where the axe head goes (way to the right) not at the crosshair. If it is being held at an angle to the side (resting) it will hit the middle of the crosshair. You hold it at the ready and also return to rest position by hitting space.

Also, if your gun (or anything) is being held at the ready, when you switch to a different item and/or gun from your hotkey, it will force you to stop moving and take it out. While at rest, you can continue moving but you can't run.

For the ammo box: you should definitely take it, you can empty magazines and small ammo boxes and put all the ammo in the bigger box. Also, you need to empty the small cardbox box by right clicking it and then clicking "empty". That way you get the rounds in your inventory and load them in your gun after.

frankie you can actually hold 2 guns! put one on your back and then right click the other one (when on the ground) and chose "put XX in hands" the only drawback is that you will drop your 2. weapon every time you put something in your hands (like food for example) and you have to pick it up again afterwards! BUT it is possible :P
