I have been playing as a medic in standalone since the early days, following strict rules of engagement. I do not shoot or attack other players. I am allowed to defend myself but under my ROE I have about a 1000 to 1 death kill ratio. If you want a real challenge try saving people instead of back shooting. To be clear, I die a lot and only kill in self defense. Since the rules of my sacred order require that I only shoot in self defense I tend to keep my weapon put away during player encounters. That means they have to be pretty incompetent not to kill me if they chose. I am not claiming 1000 to 1 kill to death ration, I am claiming the opposite.

Frankie, here is how the medical system works.: Use a blood bag kit on a LIVE player by placing it in your hands to collect their blood. Once retrieving the blood attach an IV start kit, and then you can inject to raise blood levels. Then you'll need to use a SALINE bag with an attached IV start kit to bring back your color, as this will help with disorientation. Charcoal Tabs will stop food poisoning. Antibacterial wipes stop infection, if it says you're sick DO NOT EAT because you'll throw up and you'll need a saline bag. However you can power through the sickness using antibiotics and saline, but you'll need a blood bag as your blood will drop rapidly. Injection vial, no idea. Syringe, for testing blood in a blood test kit or something to find out what kind of blood you are, if you use somebody elses blood you'll get sick and die if they're not a matching type, however this system doesn't exactly work yet. Like so frankie and fellow DayZer's can see. Hope this helped! :)

Yo Frankie. To regenerate blood on your own, you need to have full thirst and hunger. That basically means you need to eat like 3 cans of food and just spam drink at a water pump or pond. When your hunger and thirst are both completely full, you will see a marker in your inventory that says HEALING. It's the same sort of marker that says hunger and thirst, but obviously better for you. :P Also, using rags instead of bandages to mend your bleeding can make you sick. Being sick is very bad. It completely ruins your characters reaction time, and being sick for too long can kill you. The only way to completely prevent rags from making you sick is to soak them in rubbing alcohol. Unfortunately, it's very hard to find.

I can imagine quite fast.Unless you have a 4k moniter it won't really matter to you though. If you have a 1080p moniter I would recommend 1080p and the same for if you have a 1440p moniter

At least the Standalone makes it slightly easier to not kill on sight. Slightly. For example, rifles/pistols etc. can actually be 'holstered' now (and should be holstered when you're just traveling, because you move faster and use less Energy with your hands free), and so if you encounter a stranger with no weapons drawn, you do have the option of waiting to see what they'll do next. It takes a noticeable half-second to draw a weapon, so you'll have warning if they're going hostile.

SuperFrodo95 They would have to be AB blood types. Anyone who wasn't that tried to join would be lynched with pristine pens. Of course the other alternative is that people with O blood become like cattle.
