In Slovakia, the Realme is the most expensiveyet the worst value. The 9T pro/K20 pro is still the NEW value king, which the Oneplus (with its OP6 and 6T) used to be. Seems Realme and oppo are pushing the prices so high, almost Apple level and also Oneplus above 800-900$. Ive had soooo many phones. The cheapest best phone is still the redmi note 7. Best cam at this point iPhone 11 Pro/Max Best overall value, dezign K20 Pro..followed by the already a bit expensive 7T.

I said there are better value phones (cheaper with same features) and also that there are hitter phone like the iPhone 11 pro. 9t pro is much much cheaper and still gives so much. The x2, oneplus 7t, 9t pro, mi note 10 (and pro) etc still imo beat iPhones just because of the price. Yet I wouldn't say that the x2 is the best in its price range. The Oneplus 7t costs the same I think and at least feels more premium and better in hands that the x2.

Very interesting, these small teardrop notches are no problem at all and the 90 hertz refresh seems to please all who have played with and reviewed the phones. However, no notch and a pop-up camera is great! (But may lead to less water resistance if phoning when it's raining or sitting in a sauna etc.) I was very impressed with the 7T camera and that shot of moving cars caught almost without blur! That is some shot and some great camera. I do welcome the inclusion of a earphone jack on the Realme, but like you say - it's probably so that some of us have a blue tooth solution and others don't mind the dongle. I would've thought shiny sides made the phones more slippy? So the Realme with its sides would be more grippy. Can't wait for part 2 very interesting. Thank you.

Thanks Terry! Yeah there are pros and cons to the pop up solution right now, specifically water resistance. As I’ve already seen the K30 series will trade the pop up for the punch hole it looks like Xiaomi feels the same way! Funny enough the glossy edge is more grippy in most cases, as the matte edge doesn’t stick to your skin when you hold. It also just doesn’t look as premium in my opinion, but each to his own! There was almost every day an update for the camera a few months ago for a certain period of time. They are also providing their updates fast. But if I were you I wouldn't decide just between which brand gets faster or more updates... You need to ask yourself which things you need for your daily activities.

You can still use the snapdragon 855 (+) in 4 or 5 years without buying a new phone and OxygenOS is the fastest OS between android devices in my opinion (but you can still use other launchers if you want to). Just the battery life could be a little better. Depending on the apps you are using you can have 6 - 8 hours SOT (Screen On Time). But keep in mind that you can switch between 60 and 90 Hertz display so it can vary.

For someone who doesnt appreciate the oreo design on 7t, I find the design on x2pro a lot better and professional. That squarish design and that speaker grill. Simple glossy back. No changing patterns. Its either this or oneplus 8 for me which will come with linear camera setup. Also colorOs7 is confirmed to be close to stock android so I am hoping it will take the place of 2nd best android skin, if not first. Part 1 winner is x2pro for me. Waiting for part 2 😍

7t Oxygen os is not worth extra 200USD over Realme (50% more). Oneplus still missing some features from other flagships, yet price is almost the same as other big vendors. i had 1+1 and had 6t, both awesome phones, but now, considering price, I would either give some extra and go for Samsung, or pay a lot less for MI/Realme.

The big difference between the Oneplus and the Realme & Xiaomi is US LTE coverage. 7T has 12 bands, while the Realme has 8 bands and Xiaomi only has 4 bands.

Notch-less is cool and all but in my opinion the pop-up camera is more of a gimmick. The Mi 9T Pro has worse specs, it’s an older release and you’re paying a bit more for the pop-up. I would recommend going for the better specs.

Jerryrigs teardown showed that the op7t uses 2 separate speakers at the top . One large one small. Another large at the bottom. So it has 2 large dedicated speakers for listening to media. That attention to detail impressed me .
