En l'écoutant je te dis j'ai la chaire de poule. Je rentre automatiquement dans un monde imaginaire du temps colonial vers l'indépendance . Ça fait mal qu'il est vite parti. D'après les infos il a été assassiné en 1972 n'est ce pas ? 🤔

Le Bucheron is a thoughtful piece which reminds Africans of the dashed hopes of political freedom.Played on VOK radio before some programme at around noon every Thursday in late seventies and early eighties

..... with it I recall the times and life of a great friend, Nicky Yedin Omolo ( Noah to family and many close friends and acquaintances)....he bought the newly released Boukaka 's LP literally from his first salary! Rest in Peace dearest friend, you were indeed exceptional!!!!

Boukaka, Franklin, martyred Congolese singer and composer; born Brazzaville, Oct. 10, 1940; died Brazzaville, Feb. 22, 1972. He was killed by the government of Congo-Brazzaville president Marien Ngouabi. Another great African died too soon. He was 32.

Yesterday, I was in a public shuttle car in Lagos and I heard this song played on the radio. I immediately connected with it and turned on Shazam; that's how I got here... Still looking for the English meaning, God bless Africa

he talking about african leader who comes to citizen only in election period he also claims about promise that african leaders promises in election period and they never fulfill he also claims about our ancestors they fight for freedom during colonial era but the colonialism is end but still he ask himself is this what we need (due to poor leaderships corruption and povert there is no different between african leader and colonial leader)
