I grew up in NW Illinois, my grandfather on my dads side lived outside Franklin KY.... As a kid about 6 yrs old in the late 70's I remember taking a road trip down to visit him. It was the first & last time I seen him, he fought in WW2. One small room of his house was filled with guns & ammo. Him & my dad took me out back and let me shoot a shotgun at cans at age 6 lol......I wish I knew more about him.
