This is probably the nicest and best AC coupled whole home backup solution on the market at a competitive price. This is definitely the way to go for existing solar installs to add batteries. It is far more competitive in price than the Enphase system and is solar system agnostic ie. it doesn't care what kind of existing solar setup you have. Now if you're doing a brand new install I would still go with a Sol-Ark 15K and Homegrid Stack'd with Tigo optimizers but this Franklin system is genuinely nice!

Agreed. Between the battery chemistry, the aesthetics, the features, the warranty, and the commissioning from the installer side, and the ease of use from the customer side, this is definitely one of the best offerings on the market.

Hello Topher! Comparable for sure both in tech and price. The biggest difference is the battery chemistry which increases the charge cycles by close to two times. More charge cycles means they will last much longer than the current Tesla Powerwall offering. The warranty is also an additional two years. 12 vs 10 years. There are other features as well that will be in a future video.

Inverter is built into the battery stack, each stack comes with its own DC to AC inverter. The additional load panel is the smarts to perform grid bypass, critical load shedding and AC solar coupling duties. Very nice setup and very expandable. Probably the best battery add-on setup on the market for an existing microinverter solar setup.

@@greg_takacs I have AC coupled string inverter. PV to inverter 600 feet underground to house to an outback inverter and AGM batteries I want to pull outback and batteries and install so I can do it without adding inverter but reducing by one?

This can be done with the Franklin WH system. Greg was correct, the inverter is built into the battery. It is super powerful and can solve your problem.
