Fred, Thank you for sharing!!! You did an amazing, realistic job of describing what Churchill has to offer. You captured really good footage and I love how you show people how well bears can hide. Often we find people don't believe us until they see it with their own eyes!!! Keep travelling and sharing!!!

Lived in Churchill from 1956 till 1979, best years of my life worked at the Port for 17 years and later at The Duke of Marlborough School till I left to live in the Middle East in 1979, lived in Muscat Oman for four years and Saudi Arabia for three years and returned and moved to Lynn Lake Man, where I still reside, while in Churchill seen plenty of bears at safe distances

It takes a lot of food for a single Polar Bear to survive thus the Bear population is limited by food supply, seals and walrus and whatever else they can find across the Arctic.Last I read the bear population is in pretty good condition.

The only safe way to see a polar bear is in this screen ! I’m okay with that ! God created that creature for something but not me to be near them .
