If you persist in your thinking of today, you have no future which is what Frank is singing of. You are the pilot of your life. Please rethink everything each morning and thank God you are still here to experience it. Your future is bright. You haven't even started yet. I hope it's just hormones that are interfering in your life. I'm old and have been through more than you can imagine in my lifetime. "My Way" is a profound reflection on the human journey, particularly the masculine one, which carries a silent and often unspoken hardness. The line "What has he got, if not himself" is not just a celebration of self-reliance but an acceptance of the solitude that often comes with the courage to live on one's own terms. Over time, you realize this song isn’t about glory or perfection-it’s about resilience and authenticity, even in the face of regrets and tough choices. A masterpiece that only deepens with maturity.

First of all, between him and Elvis, two of my all time favorite singers. I love a lot of music, but when those two start to sing any song, I recognize the voices and know it is timeless classics. Second part, I used to DJ in my twenties and during any event, this was the most highly requested song. Whether it was during cocktail hour or during dancing, but in one event, the guy who's birthday it was asked for it 7 times, I kid you not and he said that it described his life perfectly. @@FlyingOstridge It’s all subjective, of course. Some say Frank, some say Sam Cook, others say Steve Perry, many say Freddy Mercury, etc. Now for me, it’s a man who sang songs in every genre of music you can possibly name, and had all the talent in the world: The one and only Bobby Darin.

Legendary. This weekend marks 3 years since my grandfather passed away. He was a big Frank fan. I grew up listening to songs like this in the car as often as I did my mom and dad's favorite songs. So, I shout this one out to William E. Gibson 1939-2019. I miss ya old man, you certainly lived a life that was full and did it your way...Love you pop-pop!

And no one living for Jesus Christ doing everything their own way will send you to hell and then the lake of fire on judgement day.
My dad always tells me this was one of my grandpa’s favorite songs, he’d listen and sing along to it, and I often like to think this was his song, he lived, and he did it his way, always brings me to tears. I wish I could’ve known my grandpa better, he passed away when I was so young. But I know I’ll see him again someday.
