WOW. I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. As a child I used to think "Why do people go on about Elvis so much?" But now aged 46 I understand what people see in this man (and still do) Elvis is a man I would have loved to have met. Not because of his music. But because of the man he was. What I'm most proud of is that I found a liking of Elvis in my own time and not because anyone told me too. He died too young and for the wrong reasons. I'm now a fan for life. I think we should all take a moment and be thankful to who invented the video camera. Because of this we have these great performers and performances for all time.

My Grandma and Grandad have been Elvis' biggest fans since long before i was born, so I've grown up with knowing his music. But now, as a 34yr old with heartbreak behind me, and after seeing the movie and learning more about his story, this song hits deep and makes me so emotional- it really feels like he's singing from the heart. As i grew up i found i appreciated all of his songs and the lyrics so much more now that I understand them. He was an incredible man and I feel sad that sometimes it wasn't all his way, some of the things he did he didn't have a choice in doing them. All of his songs are masterpieces and his legacy and music will never die. R.I.P Elvis x

I think it’s just a matter of looking for the good stuff because the 2010s was jammed pack of insanely good music and in my opinion it’s the best decade for music (obviously not mainstream music, but individual albums, etc). And a lot of people do definitely put emotion into their singing again, you just haven’t discovered those artists yet. Plus, Elvis was definitely just singing along to a song his manager threw at him, he wasn’t involved in the actual creation of the song. Creators today are actively interacting with their music and pouring emotion into it.

I also know all the songs by Johnny Cash and June Carter (Great). However, Elvis remains the greatest musician and entertainer of all time. He implied all the power of his soul in all his songs. Wow you're lucky! I came close, was at Graceland one month before he died, was supposed to meet him, but he was upstairs asleep, so close!👍✌

@@kennyhuskisson2684 You may need to adjust your dosage. Delusional references kind of indicate that. Good luck.

We shall not let age divide, for it simply doesn't matter. This song should be treated as it is, a masterpiece.
