1:50 Growing up no joke, I have probably heard this song 150 times minimum. The lyrics NEVER hit anywhere near as hard as they did the first time I heard Ronnie sing it... Papa Roach version is like an angry kid. Ronnie's version is the adult crying out for help one last time...

I have been in this situation for years now and I have a different interpretation that isn’t popular. The rebuilding is not necessarily healing but putting the walls back up that you had built around you for protection. He is still saying he’s running and crying and nothing is all right and he’s alone. It’s important to keep doing the work to heal even though you can seem okay from the outside. Don’t hide. Keep supporting people at risk despite how much better they seem…they often aren’t.❤
