Maturity is what comes to mind when I hear all of Ronnies Re-imagined/Re-vamped stuff. He did a video of Poppa Roach hearing his (Ronnie's) cover, for his approval. Ronnie was like an excited kid showing off his work. It's great to watch. I subbed because of this great reaction. You have a similar reaction to many other ppl who had seen the original in their teen years, in comparison to now. They said almost exactly as you said, "it hits different" Adult eyes and experience hearing it now. Thanks for a great reaction!

Same. Across the board, same. Also Gen X. The original Papa Roach version made me rage in my youth. Back when I was fueled by anger, caffeine, and bad decisions. When we were untouchable. This version speaks to my soul and how tired we are now. There’s still rage… but it’s mixed with resignation and some sadness now.
