Ho incontrato Frans Bruggen in Italia due volte "per caso" (se il caso davvero esiste). Era una persona semplice, diretta e franca. Non si dava arie e si comportava in maniera assolutamente normale. Anche da questo ho capito che era veramente un grande!

J'ai remarqué dans l'orchestre des instruments à vent en bois, des flûtes, et j'ai l'air d'un hautbois ? Les outils anciens sont très rares. Le courage du maestro du chef d'orchestre est impressionnant !
