The two clarinets sound like they are being played by one person, not two. What an amazing performance!

É sempre bom escutar Krommer e esse dupla de clarinetistas.

I doubt if the composer this very fast performance in mind had. Anyway I like it this way.

123 321 often converts were played to an audience the majority of whom were standing, possibly in the open air. Faster the better

Perfect, of course. But I'd prefer a slightly slower tempo in the 1st movement: The genius buildup to the trill at kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2K1qmdme7iNbsU and the trill itself are somehow lost in this high speed. Also the Adagio could be more on the slow side to increase the tension; they play it, I think, "just so". The version at kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpfQdJ2Oba98b7M has, in my opinion, much more life.

Krommer for sure was not a genius, but a a very gifted composer. His writind for the clainet is excellent . As in most virtuoso concertos of this time (think about Chopin) the orchestral tutti was used only in exposition andtrecapitulation, the orchestra was most often reduced to the strinfs pianissimo during the plying of the soloist. THis is by far less demanding than the style of Beethoven and Mozart. Nevertheless, thrse concrtos are c verry pleasant toi hear

pour ceux qui ignorent ce compositeur : 1759-1831. Si cela avait été mentionné, je n'aurais pas perdu mon temps, puisque je recherche de la musique baroque
