Beautiful. The arrangement works very well. Gorgeous playing too!

Yeah it was lovely surprise to find it sat so well on the guitar, thanks Rob as always!

That was wonderful, Steven! Thank you so much for making the score available. I can’t wait to try it out. I am not very familiar with Liszt, but this is not what I would have expected from him. So beautiful!

Thanks Eric, hope you have fun with it! Liszt's late works are beautifully unexpected -- often slow and reflective and without the virtuosic flourishes of his earlier music.

Great transcription, Steven! I wasn’t familiar with this one, so that’s for the introduction.

So beautiful. Like so many other pieces across genres, I like the guitar version better than the original. So much mote sensitive. Think I’m biased much? Beautifully played. Thank you.

Thank you! I couldn't possibly say if it's better or worse...but the guitar certainly has particular expressive possibilities.

Molto interessante e davvero suonata bene. Scaricherò la partitura ma credo sia molto difficile!

Grazie Sergio. There may be some stretches here and there but I don't think it should be too difficult..!

Ouch! The harmonics are very difficult! I didn't understand how they should be performed, I've never seen them written that way, with the bichords and the actual note written above. @StevenWatsonMusic
@StevenWatsonMusic Жыл бұрын
@@MrSerpes ah right, you play the two lower notes with p and m, then the harmonic with i/a. Maybe it's not common generally, but it does come up in contemporary music a fair bit. It's quite simple to execute once your hand has got used to it.

great work , Steven. A nice arrangement of an arrangement. 👍👍Do you know the meaning of the title?

Could you talk about your left hand, from a physical point of view, as your fingers seem particularly long, and your little finger has a locking joint at the tip. Do you think your long fingers give you an advantage?
@StevenWatsonMusic11 ай бұрын
Probably, though it's hard to know for sure. Players with small fingers manage well (and sometimes I wonder if shorter fingers might actually help slightly with speed and agility). Long fingers are definitely useful for stretches. I'm not sure what you mean by locking joint?
