Franz Liszt Liebestraum Nr. 3 As - Dur Olga Scheps

2017 filmed by Finckernagel&Lück in Berlin, performed on a Spirio Steinway Franz Liszt Liebestraum Nr. 3: Ein Gedicht von Ferdinand Freiligrath, einem deutschen Dichter des 19. Jahrhunderts. Freiligrath verfasste das Gedicht als Neunzehnjähriger im Jahre 1829. 1845 vertonte der ungarische Komponist Franz Liszt das Gedicht als Kunstlied für Solo-Gesang und Klavier.Die Melodie des Liedes verwendete Liszt erneut in seinem 1850 veröffentlichten Liebestraum Nr. 3 für Klavier. In dieser Fassung wurde sie zu einer von Liszts berühmtesten Melodien. Das Gedicht: O lieb', solang du lieben kannst!

A sui generis example of a pianist possessing large and elegant hands to facilitate the execution of the most vituosic compositions in the repertoire. Per esempio, she doesn't have to roll the opening chords of Rachmaninoff's second piano concerto. (Google the video.) The issue is you cannot read German.
