I would rather you do your shopping on camera just so that this series goes on for four million episodes and I can put the playlist on and pretend we're friends for the full lifespan of a beagle.

Sorry Franz. I don't consider someone my friend until they'll let me use their shower, and we just don't have that kind of relationship.

I would rather you do your shopping on-camera because of the point you made, in being caught up with your stuff and things, and also because I like to see the occasionally humorous item description or goofy names of the available items.

I have seen both spellings nerve-wracking and nerve-racking, Franz. I had always assumed that the version without the w was American, but apparently both versions are accepted here in the UK as well. Your mentioning of honorifics is something I can relate to as well: several times I have unintentionally dropped honorifics or used informal verb forms while talking to Japanese colleagues. I speak to and see these colleagues a fair bit outside of work but I have been reminded several times about the use of honorifics and formal speech where needed. I'm not quite clear whether they're just reminding me for when I'm speaking to others I don't know as well, but I have got the impression a few times that it's to maintain distance where they deem it necessary. Which is fine, my Japanese needs work. Thank you as always for the LP and your hard work.

Also to answer your question at the end of the video, and thank you for asking it, I personally would prefer that the shopping be cut and any major upgrades or related anecdotes be summarised at the beginning of the next video. If for few other reasons than my being sick of hearing Iwai's same two phrases all the time! Cheers Spy.

Nah Spy, Morgana just wants you to stop you from hand holding. Its too lewd for this game! if you plan on using a bamboo steamer, its a good idea to have something between the bamboo and the food you're steaming to stop it sticking and possibly taking some of the bamboo (have the food on a plate/bowl or on top of some butcher's paper).

I regret to inform you Franz, texting in class is fairly frequent even in a 3rd world country like mine.

Texting in class is pretty rampant now, as well as internet use. It's common for people in college to bring their laptops to class to take notes, but more often than not, they end up on the internet. Also, it's never happened in a class that I've been in, but some idiots have been caught watching porn in class.

maelstrrom One of the scariest moments of my life is when I was looking at porn the night before and brought my laptop to class. I opened it up not realizing one of those sexually explicit Nutaku ads had come up and I had to rush to delete it without being noticed.

Texting in class is way more common than I like... honestly it really annoys me to see it. In one of my college lectures these 3 girls in front of me would send each other Facebook messages while sitting right next to each other in the FIRST row, right in front of the professor. No surprise: 2 of them flunked the class. Whoops.

Do they sit at your table, entertaining you with witty conversation, and subtly ask you to order more expensive food and drinks? If not, it maybe something closer to maid cafe, but with different style of uniform.
@Northwite
@Northwite 7 жыл бұрын
To be honest I'm not sure. There is only a single Hooters in my city and I've never been there. However if anyone knows anything about the West, it's that a nice pair of "hooters" is subtle suggestion enough to order more expensive food. Lol. But I get your point. There is no way any true host club would exist in a Western country for fear of sexism lawsuits. No one is allowed to have fun in the West, and women who know they look good and work hard at staying that way are not permitted to use their talents to make money. Not without unyielding, unending stigma attached to it by lesser talented people.

Chalk me up to someone who'd love to see every statistical decision be made as you shop, Franz. I do get that this is a bit of a breakout series for you at this point, since not too many of your peers are touching Persona 5 on camera for fear of the copyright strike, and in doing so there will definitely be a set of viewers who'd find this monotonous. However, you did preface this way back in episode 1 where you warned people your playstyle is very slow and analytic. I'd fear too that the additional editing, and preface explanation of 'what' you bought and 'why' every time you shop off camera would become tedious for you.

And here I thought it was because they didn't want you to be too big a crepe. However you do need advice on flipping the tool tables and talking. I'd expected at least a mention of the other stuff by now. And too bad you'll never see Morgana at his best. Probably. I'm taking my bet with myself now on when since 60 is approaching and I'm not hopeful. To 85 then.
