Have a listen to Sissel Kyrkjebø at the Mormon choir concert and you might change your view but I expect you will at least enjoy the rendition. If you do have a listen also to "Slow Down" and note her reaction at the end to the applause. I only came across Sissel recently and don't know how I never heard of her before, Angelic and such a smile. I'm really smitten. Great songs on KZbin from when she was a young girl and I wish I could see her in concert, not much hope living in Ireland as she doesn't seem to tour all that much except in Nordic countries but she has fabulous command of the English language. In fact she has sung in Irish as well !

Heard Sissel's version, quite different but enjoyable nonetheless, however, those silky, warm tones of Frida win for me. They create a dark, Winter night atmosphere in front of the fire wistfully thinking of a love lost and the emptiness that leaves. Her delivery paints a vivid picture more than Sissel's for me.

Everytime I listen to this music my eyes get full of tears. I had a friend who used to say that ABBA was a group created by the God hands because God loves good music and good voices. Also he used to cry a river of tears listening to this song. When Madonna covered this song my friend was already gone but I'm sure it made his spirit happy anyway.
