Phuket Aviation Highlights 3/3 | Low Landings: Myanmar, iFly A330, 747 Star Alliance & more

Dear friends,
this is our third Phuket video. Great planes again - all positions (beach & jungle) and many heavys, military and rare aircraft (like Myanmar). I hope you enjoy it!
NOK AIR:
Did you already see the NokAir before? These planes have great liveries in different colors - without having special names for their liveries.
Nok Air is a low-cost airline in Thailand operating mostly domestic services out of Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport. Thai Airways owns a main part. Nok Air operates largely independently from Thai Airways, which has caused friction between the two companies.
In 2013 Nok Air announced a joint venture with Scoot Airlines to form NokScoot, a low-cost airline operating medium to long-haul international services, based out of Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok. The joint venture was shut down in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Yes. Sint Maarten have some lower landings but in my opinion Phuket have some better movement und better positions. I Wish you a Great weekend

This is my favorite point in Phuket. This part of beach is also the national park (Maikao Beach) . You have to walk 2-3 minutes from the parking to this location.

I'll be going to Phuket in 4 months. I really wanted to take Thai, simply for the fact that they use a 747 on this route and given the circumstances, they'd go extinct sooner or later. But alas, the extremely short layover time from my origin, a mere 35 minutes, basically made it impossible for us to take it.

Fantastic video!. Did you know the airport authority of Thailand plan to close the beach next to the runway ? because some people did harm to the aircraft during landing and taking off. I'm really sad to heard that news, In the future we will lose many opportunities to inspire the children joining the aviation industry.

They have just officially announced that the beach will not be closed for plane spotting but make sure to not using flash, laser or anything that might confuse the pilots. 😉

This is the Location you can go by Taxi (do not park here). Then go 50 meters on the main road to east. On the right side you find a very small and hidden "way". Hard to climb. 20 Meters Up. Thats it. But remember it's forbitten. Because of Military basis

I love planes. But it's a very long flight to Thailand. we are tired. And when we arrived, we were surprised by the taxi prices. Very expensive. I had to rent a car. When we were in Phuket we rented a car. We rented a car because taxis are expensive. We rented a car for 12 days. The people who work there are professional and friendly and we were in and out within 10 minutes. Car was like new and the staff give you a # to call 24-7 with any issues. Would strongly recommend the Orange car Phuket (easy find to google or KZbin ) if you need a car or motorbike!
