Def need to drop those pressures. We Tow a trailer to Fraser with our Forester and drop the pressure on the trailer tyres to 18 as it's light trailer and car to 16 PSI with no issues at all. Just did our 4th trip last week!

I take it back, at least 1 of the girls had a 4 point harness on the oldest on the passenger side was in a booster seat with factory shoulder strap leaning over sound asleep with strap across her throat ! 😂 It's 4:00 AM CST in USA and I just found your channel and going to hit 👍 and subscribe then watch some more ! ✌️💙🎵 From St Louis Missouri USA

Reduce your Tyre pressures it will prevent you getting bogged and ride will be far more comfortable.

Yeah we did reduce the tyre pressure in the car and caravan, we did that before we left. We just didn’t know to empty the water tanks in the caravan.

@@TeamFerris just watched the video, thanks for sharing. Love K'gari (Fraser) go there annually for 6-8 days at a time. The moment you went down I can tell you, far too much tyre pressure still. Lugging a van, I'd go down to 10-12 psi, (18psi is too high towing) about right for a light vehicle alone but I still think too high for your rig. Caravan, single axle go about 15-16, boogie axle, keep to 18-20 to avoid de-beading whilst tight mannovering. Vehicle alone, I'd run 16 in front max 18 in rear max. Anytime you get stuck go to 10 psi and drive out. Now, you do have to be very aware not to through it into a tight quick turn as you'll probably debead the tyre, but there should be no need for tight quick turns whilst beach driving. When you go back (and you will as K'gari hooks you in) try the lower psi towing, then inflate to 16 for balance of island venturing. You'll enjoy your time so much more.
