Firstly - Love your Videos. We are actually sailing this same suite on a 20 night cruise - We have not sailed Costa for over 38 years, as we have been hooked on MSC Yacht Club for the last 10 years - We love this specific suite, primarily for the Balcony - its crazy - FYI, when u said on the video to clear the Minifridge to stock your own items, in fact the suite comes with a Complimentary Mini Bar that is re-stocked as needed.... We are sailing in a few weeks aboard Virgin Valiant in the Massive Suite (now that is a terrace) - Keep up the great work!!!!!

On the note of Valiant Lady, I actually met someone on my last cruise who was staying in a Mega Rockstar suite on there and let me in to take a look - I was gobsmacked. Very nice tour and very nice suite. I just don't like that window in the shower. I know you can close the curtain but it does not make sense putting that there in a suite. But over all very very nice. Great job Fraser. Look forward to seeing more.

Looks lovely though we do like privacy on our balcony otherwise you may as well just lay out on the pool deck. The glass wall looking into the shower is a bit weird 😝

Yeah, I get the privacy point - it’s the one thing I do think about some of these less ‘private’ balconies… I actually liked the glass - more from the ‘looking out’ point of view than the ‘looking in’, haha!

Lovely, but seems to me the hall is wasted space. I agree about the lack of light for bedroom. I've never stayed in a suite, but have seen other lines that have bedroom and separate sitting area both opening up to an extended balcony. Both areas getting light and space. Thanks for the tour!

Good point on the hall too - I wonder why they kept that separate to the bedroom - maybe to make the room better for hosting, so visitors don’t walk through your bedroom? Hmm..

Great cabin, yes odd the lack of direct sunlight to the bedroom. And finally a mini-bar/fridge in a Smeralda cabin! Wonder what perks come with the suite and at what cost, 2x, 3x or 4x a standard Balcony? Thanks Fraser 😊

Hey Stephen, I actually couldn't find pricing for this suite anywhere online - it either sells really quickly, or it's released at a different time - I was hunting on so many sailings! I do think the lack of daylight in the bedroom is so strange for SUCH a premium cabin - rooms that pricey usually look over the ocean at all times! Thanks, as always, for watching!!

@FraserAtSea Given there is generally only a couple of these suites per ship, it doesn't surprise me that they dissappear in advance and aren't easily found on websites! Hope your current wee trip is going well, Fraser. 1st scrape-ing the hard frost off the car yesterday at hame! ❄️😬

It is the same price of all the other Grand Suites on board. I see the lite from bedroom - but truthfully we always close our blinds when we go to bed. We will see if any difference. The suite amenities on Costa seem half decent- especially on Smeralda and Toscana with their private 19 sundeck

@@markmcutchen3593 thanks for that Mark, I need to research these things! So not like an owners suite where there is only 2 or so but 2 to 4 Grand Suites on decks 8 to 16 in the corner aft or bow positions ! Drinks package, butler, private solarium, reserved table in the dinning room, sounds great. Saw a 7 night in May 24 on Smeralda out of Savona for £3000 in a Grand Suite, so not a ridiculous price at all!
