Really good vlog. Great to see 'whats in port'. Put my mind at rest seeing the 'gang plank' and what I am up against in my wheelchair. If you spot any disabled facilities (toilets) out and about please point them out for us 'wheelies'

Just discovered your Azura vblogs. I do like the way you are showing your experience from a young solo traveller's perspective. Definitely a market out there for your content. I am a solo traveller too and have been on Azura in the past (Baltic).. I went on Britannia a few years ago to the Canaries. Good to see how you occupy yourself as a solo traveller. I normally take excursions so I have some company and chat to others and get others to take pictures of me. One question .Did you wear a kilt on the formal night .. I was a bit disappointed you did not show your entire outfit. I bet you looked really smart! Decided to subscribe. You are pretty good! Will watch the rest of your Azura Canaries voyage in the coming days.

Buffet food looked very good. I went on Ventura last July and the food in the buffet was sparse most days, on embarkation day in particular we boarded late and there was no food left ! pretty disappointing after a day of travelling to the port. Done 6 cruises with P&O and the food seems very hit n miss especially since the re start, so we're giving P&O a miss for our next few cruises to try the competition. (MSC & Cunard, opposite ends of the spectrum lol). Be interesting to try other lines. I do like Azura/Ventura for their size and lovely prom decks tho, they are both great ships despite their age. I would say that the P&O standard is really different across the ships I’ve been on since the restart - I found a fair amount to be desired on Arcadia a matter of weeks ago, but loved so much about Azura - a huge difference! I’ll be SO interested to hear how you find Cunard!

I'm tempted to try a Christmas canaries cruise with P&O. If my Norwegian Fjords cruise goes well on Iona, I may book aboard if promotions are worth it. My primary worry is risk of rough seas and storms in December going by your videos and Emma's. The Mediterranean may be a lower risk for seas/storms than the Atlantic ocean while still enjoying some winter sun and British Christmas festivities. Sadly the Carribean is too far for my travel party otherwise that'd be the top option for good weather and low risk of storms. A river cruise might be a good option as well particularly with the Christmas markets in Europeans the like, but generally lower temperatures versus a coastal southern European cruise.

Hey! They usually go up by the first cruise in December. Some lines slightly before and some after, but generally the first week!

Were you cruising on this ship at Xmas time? (As you're no doubt aware "Bah Humbug" was uttered by penny pinching Scrooge from Charles Dickens' _A Christmas Carol_ .) OR are you saying you're like Scrooge because you're on a budget? I ALWAYS try to get the best deals, it would be ludicrous not to. The Canaries are allegedly Sunny all year around that's why many Expat Brits retire there. North Cyprus is similarly Sunny but around March / April it rains like a monsoon in China.

Those new fangled phone charging leads never work for me. My phones only like the original cables which are all mangled with the metal sheath showing, but they still work. One of my phones only accepts my kindle charging lead. Weird lkr?
