INDIAN OCEAN…could this song be about crying an ocean of tears for my children’s souls, for the ways and means I failed them thru the years, and to someday connect again with them like the way we were when they were little?! We’ve been worlds apart since then…💔 🙏🏻☦️🕊

All of her music has completely touched my life. I think of my life in phases of before Frazey.. and after. Not kidding. Her voice is hypnotic and so lovely.. it's like going to heaven for just a few minutes.

In a platonic way, I am completely in love with her voice and music. No artist other that his Bobness and Van the man has touched me like this.... In my music mind she is up there with these gods.

20/12/2023: it's a wonder how it a person gets a voice like that. Basia Bulat, Tamara Lindeman, Leslie Feist, Misha Bower, Frazey Ford. I reckon they've been to that other side, their voices like swing that went all the way around, and came back with a urgent and phosphorescent lilt.

Not to take away from her individual talent - nobody could, she is absolutely astounding BUT I hear some faint shades of a Joni Mitchel , not often and just a shade, she has the great bluesy feel that Joni didn’t
@harmoniabalanza3 жыл бұрын
To compare her to J Mitchell really is off. Completely different. Joni is an artist of the first order among the greats and will be remembered always. This singer is very good and very affecting but she just isn't the musician Mitchell is. People evaluate art and artists based on their degree of knowledge as well as their degree of taste and feeling. To get that someone is great you have to have the equipment, personally, to make an accurate evaluation.

You're callin' again and again And you, you're sorry, you're sorry For what you've done And it's a quarter to four On the other side of the world And I can't sleep The Indian Ocean (wash me over) And you're callin' again and again And you, you're sorry, you're sorry And it's a quarter to four On the other side of the world And I can't sleep The Indian Ocean (wash me over)

I hear 'and it's a colder tearful' (it's why she can't see) but all the lyrics written for this on the net say 'colder than before' How is anyone hearing that? Frazey am I wrong? If not please set them straight it's driving me insane 😰 Thank you for the music beautiful. Oh and I know you're busy but I have a friend who would make beautiful music with you and I think you might possibly love her if you met. Everyone does!
@benp94335 жыл бұрын
Part of frazey's style is to sing in different vernacular. It could be both!
