I played this exact deck minus 1 ladd (and one more thestalos) at my first edison tournament back in january. Basic monarchs is still SO GOOD

Thestalos is always a card I want to try and fit into Frog decks for the exact reasons you said. It's a great monster to play into an empty board/a board with no monsters which is something frogs lack. So combining that with LaDD, you make them guess and they can't win every 50/50 lol.

The ceiling of this deck is very low compared to the other two and I could feel it during the tournament because I played against a lot of other frog variants.

I think the insane damage output of hero frogs is really strong in irl events since they are timed. I think dream frogs are better if you aren’t timed.
