The rule you showed on the screen said "during AUTO" which has a different rule governing possession of multiple notes than TELEOP. The TELEOP rule explicitly says "no longer than MOMENTARY" and defines MOMENTARY as 3 seconds or less. 118 explicitly asked about this on the Q&A or maybe their head-ref during DCMP and also posted on CD when it was confirmed legal. The referees weren't asleep at the wheel. In my opinion, this isnt an egregious exploit, the point of disallowing multiple game pieces is so teams don't ferry multiple pieces at a time across the field, while intaking multiple at a time is a means to be able to increase pure throughput of note shooting seems like a way to distinguish great teams from superb teams

Fun fact about the carpet, they spent like 40 minutes to make the patch which was probably well spend was a good patch but they didn’t replay the match that caused the issue because of course not lol
