Hejsan Svejsan! This is my favourite track from this album and I really dig the Messhugg-ish 7/8 riff and that odd displacement of the last phrase in the chorus :) And speaking about favourites, I attempted the impossible task to narrow my favourites down to 10 with the additional note that "Move" and "Organic" are my top albums, probably because they were the first that I've heard... So, Here Comes the Prime: 1. Blind 2. Walls of Stupidity 3. Entertain Me 4. The Sinking Planet 5. Propaganda Pie 6. Nobody's Laughing 7. Razor Flowers 8. Heroin Breakfast 9. Chest Pain Waltz 10. Confusion to the Enemy Tack :)

All the music by Freak Kitchen is great but the tune "I don't want to golf" has embedded itself in my brain. The lyrics are funny and tragic at the same time. I love the fills during the verses and the rhythm section is kicking. A work of genius and pure Freak Kitchen in every way, it is definitely one of my favorites! :)

Favourite;: probably "Hip hip hooray" right now, it combines my affection for hard rock and disco. Mattias, you may be pleased to know that one has infected one's daughter with your melodious grooves, as she is technically dänskeuh, "så kan det gå, når ingen hasp er på" ;)

Mattias, could you please talk a little bit about the transition to the 8 strings guitar and how was the process of adapting/transposing (?) the old songs riffs to this instrument? It's always good to watch your videos, you talk like a normal person as if you were face to face to us, this is so natural and nice to the spectator! Thank you

I discovered your music back in 2004. It has such a special place in my heart. So many memories. Lyrics are meaningful and with a pinch of dark humor. Tough decision, love the old stuff like “Raw” and “Burning Bridges” as well as more cheesy stuff like “Nobody’s Laughing” and kick ass songs like “Taste my Fist” but then the newer albums are also great so I guess it depends on the mood...yet this is what makes Freak Kitchen so special in my opinion :) thank you IA!

Some of my favorite FK songs are (in no particular order): Breathe - truly emotional and beautiful song! The Only Way - really like the "tung gung" of that one. Walls of Stupidity - same there, really like the melody and the rhythm of the song. Some Kind of Love Song - funny and sadly relatable. Dead Soul Man - nice and heavy with great lyrics! Propaganda Pie - also heavy, also with great lyrics. The Rights to You - see above. Sick? Death by Hypochondria - again, see above. Independent Way of Life - great satirical lyrics. Morons - way too relevant! Confusion to the Enemy - unusually long and complex song made greater once you realize from who's perspective it is told. And of course: Mr Kashchei & the 13 Prostitutes and Six Dildo Bob and the Bluegrass Samba From Hell for their wonderful absurdity! Rest assured that all the songs not mentioned here are also great but these are some that stand out for me.

I don’t want to come back to this too much but as I put on my rubber gloves and N95 Mask(Covid PPE) to fix a machine at a customer I thought of you. Not you exactly to be clear. More specifically the Fletch scene with him as Mr. Babar getting the good, old prostate examination. I snapped the gloves on with a gleam in my eyes and I quietly laughed. The PPE gear makes me look like doctor in a eccentric kind of way. Anyway I shall watch your video now. Good Heath my friend.

IA! I'm so happy, this chunky song really deserved a full blown video. The track really stands out on the album, and actually sounds like the "future" of FK. It's the freshest thing you've written for a while! Very mature and daring. The production is also different. Hats off, I dig that song, and so does my 4-year old daughter (you're her favorite band)! As for favorite track.... ouch. You are that band that just has killer songs all around. I know that Dead Soul Men won the battle for favorite album... This album is just tip-top From Silence to Shithead... non-stop ear candy!!! Appetizer is close second. I could maybe name a favorite track per album... I'll do that. In CAPS are the songs that could battle for favorite FK song. Appetizer TASTE MY FIST Tiny Little Second BLACK SPIDER FLAG Heroin Breakfast Heal Me ONE LAST DANCE The Mathematics Of Defeat Confusion To The Enemy So If merge best album and best song.... the winner would be Black Spider Flag. But this could change to Shithead or Get A Life or Silence. So the official answer is, thanks for everything, especially Dead Soul Men. Fistbump to you Mattias!

Freak Chicken?! Free Kitchen?! FREE CHICKEN! You share the same problem with Meshuggah among the fans who over-analyze your songs rhythmically. What's it with swedes and getting in trouble with your rhythmic creations? That grin around 13 minutes spooked me. Way too close to pinkies in Doom. Took me some minutes to realize that the faint background is portal. Have you played the turing test? That was an interesting game, nice spiritual continuation to portal in my books. You very much sound like a movie score composer rather than a guitarist in how you approach songs. Despite being one of the masters and pioneers of the instrument. Happy friday to our svejsan viking and merry kastspö! Stay healthy and inspired.
