The All American fronts had an All American Back that made it a full 14 inch... I had one that was .689 which I think was the only bore size you could get, plus it has a slightly longer control bore which made it shoot great when bore matched. The reason I'm going to purchase the Freak XL myself.

Is there a carbon fiber insert that works on the xl? I didn't want the one piece so I bought the kit, I love it with the 82 insert I just don't like the weight compared to my stock geo IV barrel. Wanted something while I wait for the PE inserts to come out

The only good looking tip is the old, old freak front (teardrop tip style). I hate all these and I hate that I can't use the xl back and xl inserts with my old, old freak front

SSniper14 PB Not really, I've had my Aluminium freak kit for 15 or so years. Not a single problem or damaged insert.

SS is much harder and less prone to scratching (which is really important since I play in the desert and my friend scratched an aluminum barrel I lent him because a few grains of sand got into his hopper) and the aluminum inserts were often labeled incorrectly.

When anodizing these barrels does the honing or factory polish on the inside of the barrel get colored too? Or is it removed? If so do you guys re-hone/polish the inside of the barrel? I would assume if the inside gets removed the accuracy would greatly suffer, and you guys aren't a barrel manufacturer. When will the anodized colors be available?

The barrels get colored on the inside too, but the accuracy doesn't suffer. And the Freak XL's will need a few more weeks till we get the anodized ones. We need to get more of them in stock.

If you anodize the outside of a barrel does it risk the honing or factory polish on the inside of the barrel?

After anodizing, the markers are reassembled and tested to ensure that the accuracy hasn't been compromised.

It probably won't be. You have to buy the whole kit. XL inserts won't fit into the old barrels so you need to get everything to use them.

If I sent you a piece of my gun could you match the anno for the tip? Its a dangerous power G3 (stop laughing) in either venom green or dust lime. I've tried the sour apple and it seemed just a little off.

Sorry, but we wouldn't be able to match a color. Due to variations from one batch to the other, there's a 5-10% difference in the final color depending on stuff like how old or fresh the anodizing liquid is.

There currently is no adapter for autococker to spyder with the freak xl's. And there probably won't be one in the future either. The paintball needs to drop down right inside the insert in order to work properly, but if you had an adapter, then the ball would drop down behind the insert and break on the insert when it was shot out.

It's nice to have a full set cause you never know what size your paint is gonna be when you go to play since the size of a paintball can be affected by atmospheric conditions.. The more inserts you have, the more accurately you can match the paint as it changes on you.

The gun you're using doesn't determine which insert you would use. You pick which insert you're going to use based on the size of your paint. The size of a paintball can change due to variations in atmospheric conditions, so you'll want to check which insert works best for your paint each time you play in case it changed size.
