Lindsay Lohan did play the guitar at the beginning and end, she was actually a musician at the time. This was how she released the song “Ultimate”. I miss these days from Lindsay, this film and Mean Girls were peak comedy. I know she is doing better, but she needed more support along the way. It sucks that it wasn’t there.

One of Disney's best live action movies. Hands down. Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis are both amazing in this.
@Avileable2 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely!!!!!
@Daytondaily Жыл бұрын
This isn’t a “live action” lmao that refers to a previous animation brought live-action. This was never animation. It’s just a Disney film. And it shouldn’t be compared to any live-action re-creations like Maleficent, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Aladdin, etc.
@Avileable2 Жыл бұрын
@@Daytondaily ok fair point. But it was made in a similar fashion like the “Live Action” it’s a story revamped for a newer audience with stars of the time. I think the original Disney Freaky Friday came out in like the early 70’s with the daughter being a young Farrah Faucet. And was made over twice since this one. The musical and the movie musical that premiered on Disney Channel a few years ago 2015 or 16 I think
@jaykay845 Жыл бұрын
@Daytondaily the meaning of live action in English is a movie with action involving real people or animals, not models, or images that are drawn, or produced by computer. There is no perquisit that an animated version must have been released before in order to call a movie "live action". Although I can understand the confusion with how the term is used these days, especially when dealing with Disney properties.

alright people calm down. they just meant it was a good flick made by disney that WASNT an animation. it’s weird you can’t even pay a movie a compliment without being corrected.

Jake is a student who works in the office after school before going to go work at the cafe. His establishing shot shows him walking through the school with a textbook and a notebook. He has a backpack in most school shots. Him having a copy of the key is showing that the school trusts him and he is a responsible student despite the mom thinking that he looks like a "bad boy."

The way I interpreted the Chad Michael Murray character is he likes Lindsay Lohan, not just because of her looks, but also for her personality. Because he’s into Lindsay at first, then when Jamie Lee and Lindsay swap bodies he’s into Jamie Lee, and then when they swap back, he’s into Lindsay again. It’s because he likes her for who she is and not just because she is physically Lindsay, and he maybe subconsciously knows it’s her in Jamie Lee’s body.

I saw another KZbin commenter say a theory I had to share..the mother and daughter who they got the fortune cookies from were switched but never switched back. The mother acts like a young person who is troublesome and the daughter has a much different vibe-a mother of kids who get in trouble and am running a business while simultaneously keeping everyone safe and out of trouble. The mom didn’t have a mom or grandma vibe. Who knows but I love it haha

Jake liked Anna the whole time is the point of his character. He liked her in her mom’s body and the quick switch at the performance is because he thought it was Anna performing so he was still liking Anna. The awkwardness overpowers the point though but it’s actually nice when you think about it. The song is not original to the movie. It’s from an Australian band from the early 00’s called Lash. It’s called Take Me Away and it’s on their album The Beautiful and the Damned. Gives The Donna’s vibes

The Parent Trap is worth watching. I mean, assuming you're down for a light, family-oriented romantic comedy, then it's pulled off as well as could be. I think it was Nancy Meyer's directorial debut. Also, yes, Lindsay Lohan is really good in it, and you can immediately see why she got cast in so many movies afterwards. Hopefully you'll post a reaction to it someday.

Greg that's all original music that Lindsay Lohan and the girls had written back in the day and you maybe surprise but she is actually playing the guitar. You guys may remembered that Lindsay Lohan was a music artist that had multiple records.... The actress who playing Stacey also reunite back with Chad Michael Murray as a popular bully again in Hilary Duff classic film The Cinderella Story... Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan actually hang out with each other and became close friends. I heard the same thing about both of them actually record each other lines to see how they going to perform it. They could have stated that in some interviews or a DVD extra I may be mistaken. Plus it was also their ideas to reunite for the sequel to give the fans what they want.....Maybe in the sequel Lindsay Lohan character Anna had a son or a daughter of her own and switch place with them. In between these years that Lindsay wasn't acting she owns a hotel Empire. Speaking of Chad Michael Murray you should react to his well-known popular TV series One Tree Hill if you like shows like Outer Banks.
