This is actually pretty good, it's weird and off-putting in the buildup to a climax that isn't over the top but extremely alarming and scary, without needing any blood or gore. Very classy creepypasta, very psychological and disturbing.

You can actually buy thing three T-shirts at universal gift shops. For family’s with 3 kids. I’ve also been to universal many times and when ever I would ride that ride with my parents as a kid. The ride always gave me an off creepy feeling, especially when the ride gets kinda dark and you can see thing 1 and 2

There are not many childhood ones that scared me as a kid, except one... That one creepy muppet from Muppet's Christmas Carol. When you first go into the town in the beginning, there's one that says 'what about my nose?' then the window shuts on it. Not that one, but the one you see laughing after... Yeah, that one in black with a balding head and magenta/red hair and crutch... It was SUPER creepy to me as a kid. I know, he only popped up a few short times, but he still creeped me out as a kid.

I think "The Bad Case of Stripes" by David Shannon is one of the scariest children's books during my childhood. I was in the 2nd grade when that book was read to me and my classmates, along with the 1st grade class, by my 1st grade teacher and I had to sleep with my parents for a week. "The Bad Case of Stripes" still freaks me out to this day.

Thing 3 is symbolic of the child, with the other 2 things representing his parents. When thing 3's existence is denied, he interpreted that as neglection by his father. In the cat in the hat ride, thing 3/Aiden can live with thing 1 (mum) without the neglectful thing 2 (dad) making him cry.

Aidan loved the Things in Cat In The Hat. He memorized every line, he saw Thing 3 running around with the other 2 but his parents seem not to believe him. Aidan knows what he saw in the books, even on the ride. How gleeful he was when he can finally prove to his parents that Thing 3 was there, constantly squealing and pointing at practically nothing to his parents. Aidan's dad finally told him with sternness that there is no Thing 3 at all. Anger rises like hot steam in the child but only tears came out, how blind he thought his parents were, this final ride he will prove that Thing 3 existed. But his mom still didn't see him. He howled a scream and pulled on his hair violently, he right was in front of him, Thing 3! His mother was shocked and terrified to see the scene of her own child wailing, laughing, and pointing in front of him. "Enough Aidan!" She tugged on his arm. But Aidan pulled back and jumped off the large cart, running between the colorful cutouts going to the furthest corners where all abandoned animatronics stray from the working ones, he pulled on the frizzy hair of broken Thing animatronics out of anger and confusion. He was given a long rusted metal by his new friend. "Why can't she see you." Aidan asked to *Thing 3* . The frizzed up Thing just shrugged and cackled. Maybe Aidan gone to far when he gouged his mom neck with the metal; "No. No. No. NO! I don't like this!" Cried out the distraught child, but Thing 3 just disappeared with him. Edit: I completely forgotten this existed! Thanks to everyone that liked this writing (even though this is a disappointment) I think it’s better to rewrite this so whenever I get notifications I won’t have this writing showing up 😅 Edit 2: Rewrote it. Mission Successful

Most disturbing kid's character? Britain's own Mr Blobby I'd say XD He freaked me out as a kid, but there was something weirdly fascinating about him. Heck, I even had a doll of him. The last I remember seeing him was as a recurring joke character on a show called Harry Hill's TV Burps, where he would break through doors and randomly start smashing up the sets. The most disturbing part about him as his weirdly pitched voice that would just scream nonsensical gibberish as he trashed the place.

That was really good! I always really loved this ride, but a while back I saw a video review of how much it's deteriorated over the years. Thinking back, the first 2 times I rode it were a lot better quality over all, with the spinning and everything. I still enjoy the ride for its nostalgia, but I can definitely see how it could be creepy to some people, so hearing someone actually write a whole story about it was a strange breath of fresh air. My only critique is the fact that Thing 3 was holding a knife, which just felt a little too on-the-nose, while the rest of the story was really nice and subtle. Awesome story over all though, makes me wanna ride it again and take a closer look at things.

Great video!! To be able to have the viewer pause and think to themselves "wait, is this real?" is a compliment all in itself😊👏. As for something scary, to me as a child had to be... Count Von Count, from Sesame street. With that purple skin, pointy nose and the hands. Imagine walking in and seeing that dummy puppet sitting atop of someone, fingers dug into abdoman, and eating the liver slurping and slobering saying "one, one delicious liver, ugh ugh ugh!!".

That was an awesome story! I think a kids story character that scared me as a kid.... wouldn't be from a book tho.... I think his name was The Greedy from this really weird Raggedy Ann cartoon movie.
