It's hard to watch how her children are copying their mum's eating disorder. :(
@lindseynobody48654 жыл бұрын
What's sad is that their mom has an actual problem and they don't. They're very clearly copying her behavior simply to get their way because they've seen that their mom doesn't have to eat anything that she fusses about. It's totally screwed up that the kids got treated like they had actual problems instead of just being told to cut the crap and stop being dramatic little brats. Now they're going to think that they can act unreasonably to get their way and then pretend it's due to an issue they don't actually have when it comes time to get out of being held accountable.

If your kids won't eat something, you can start by being a better cook! My kids eat everything from curry to (real) Ramen to tacos with lime and cilantro, and thats because we started them very young AND my husband is a great cook.

It's not adorable. It's toxic, sad and scary. If she never got help, and something happened to her mom, she would've only eaten cheese for the rest of her life. Her mother catered to her eating disorder from the time she was a child, and reinforced her picky eating behavior so that she thought it was right for mothers to feed their children anything they want. Parents are meant to prepare their children for the world. She grew up believing her parent's home was the only safe place on earth, and everything/everywhere else gave her anxiety. Thankfully she's able to work outside the home and travels, even if she can't eat outside the home, but when her daughter called Italy "Ethnic" in disgust, it was clear what they think of anyone outside of their own family.

Because I'm gonna let you know right now, neither of you fakes online are doing anything to solve the issue you're complaining about. What I find interesting is that they never bring up taste aversions. Our biology basically made it so that when we eat something and get sick, it creates such a strong connection in our brain to never ever touch it again, because back when we foraged this could mean you were eating something poisonous or rotten that could kill you. So taste aversions are incredibly difficult to overcome because half of it is simply your body acting for you in a way that you can’t control. I personsllt Remember how I used to enjoy this one pasta dish with cooked red bell peppers, until one time I got sick after eating it and now even the smell of it makes me nauseous beyond belief and I can’t handle the thought of it even though I ate it plenty times before even

I know right? Cheese smells like an old granny's toenail fungus was trimmed off and put into a bowl along with her husband's toe hairs. They kept it in the microwave for 30 seconds then took it out, then they spread it all over a drunk man's toes and told the drunk man to put his greasiest socks and most worn-out shoes on. The man went to a bar for a good few hours, came home and went to bed with his shoes and socks on, leaving his feet to sweat because they're so rotten. They then came in and harvested that toe cheese, took a big old whiff and thought to themselves "This isn't it." So instead they made more and eventually had a whole truck full of it, which they carried around their local neighbourhoods on a sunny day. All the kids were outside and were sweating due to the heat so because the toe cheese was in a cooler they let the kids bathe in it. One little lad had a urine infection and peed in it. When the kids were done swimming in the now *yellow* toe cheese the drivers drove away with it but little do we know where he was taking it. He took it to Queen Elizabeth's castle and allowed her to use the cheese as a foot massage while her servants munched on Brussel sprouts and ripped wet soggy farts into the cheese to warm it up like a hot tub but eventually the whole room turned into a sauna and the royal windows went gassy. They carefully collected every remaining particle of gas, fed it to Queen Elizabeth and forced her to poop it out into the mix. They blended it up again with the urine of an Eskimo but the result wasn't quite what they wanted yet so they had to add milk. The milk made it look half-decent so they solidified it, sold it, wrote some false ingredients on it and said "No one will know." To this day, nobody knows the true nature being *CHEESE.*

Eating disorders aren’t someone you control. It’s something that controls you. She didn’t do this to her daughters because she wanted too. She has an issue that they witnessed, that appears normal. Of course it’s not, but it’s not that she wanted to give them this issue. It’s something that become an issue and she didn’t even realize for a while until it was too late. Which happens to many people who have eating disorders. Also she’s not smiling because she doesn’t take this seriously and is doesn’t care. Many people smile in situations like this because they are nervous and that’s one of their reactions. It’s a normal reaction. Because if she wasn’t smiling and laughing. She’d just be crying.

I don’t think people understand how limiting this kind of issue is… I was force fed different foods when I was a child and it seriously turned me into a picky eater. You develop weird food rules and learn to associate only with foods that are comforting and familiar - like how this lady will make an exception for her mom’s roast, even though it breaks those rules.
