I see that in order to offset the relative strength of the Spike ATGMs, they are about as potent as being stuck with a wet pool-noodle. Agonising if it hits soft skin, not so much behind layers of armour.

The problem is that top attack missiles aren't actually top attack, they just shoot up and make a beeline for the driver instead of firing directly on top of the target like it should.

Not all spike missiles are the same- this is the higher velocity, flatter angle variant rather than the top-down, slower ones people were introduced to on other vehicles. Both are fire-and-forget, though.

@@Pingu6713these spikes can’t, that’s the NLOS version which the freccia doesn’t use. The qn-506 however does have that feature irl but it’s not ingame yet. Luckily it’s getting Loitering munition drones soon

I have an absolute terrible time with this thing. Most of the enemy tank has to be showing for me to get a lock and most the time if I can see most of them they are coming at me and they see me and I die before I can launch. I very rarely get open enough maps to use them on and when I do, I usually get sniped before I can. It has been very painful.
