'Places we've never been' is a good logo for a shirt, I like it, plus black is my favorite color (most of the music I listen to is pretty dark). It is good to see that you finally bought something you like, for a reasonable price ('...good things come to those who wait...'). I am not versed in your type of music, but I like the presentation, the color and design of the three record covers is nice...

I was really excited to finally find records I want, and on sale. That doesn't happen to me very often lol. I like what you said about good things coming to those who wait! I also like how all 3 the covers fit the overarching concept and theme.

Oh wow! Stick Season was in the clearance section?! That was so hard to get over the summer there was like a very few copies in store and online and then sporadically it came back. The Celine I would have bought! It is funny how every Target is different. The two stores near me don't have a devoted clearance section for vinyl instead it's interspersed in the regularly priced items which is so annoyig. Love the video!

@@yourwitsaboutyou Thanks for sharing! It is interesting to see what each Target has. I’d be so annoyed too if I had to find clearance records mixed in with the regular price stuff!

Great video! I've never bought a record brand new that didn't have an actual inner sleeve included! That's just crazy lol, how cheap can companies get these days!!
@MorganBrandon3 ай бұрын
@@DanielSantos-jk4np yeah I was shocked. That’s not really safe for the vinyl.

Ok Theory,since actual life two has a sleeve and the rest don’t and you said that actual life too is the cheapest,what if cheap equals sleeve but expensive equals no sleeve?
@MorganBrandon3 ай бұрын
@@fan1000 yeah it looks like that’s the way it is. Although that seems backwards. To me the more expensive records should have sleeves, like you’re paying for the sleeve and vinyl. Then the cheaper one would have no sleeve. Idk what happened with the Actual Life records lol.

A lot of acts sound much better live, Faithless are like that, apart from Insomnia all of their tracks sound better to me live than the studio version. I didn't get any of their albums until recently, after watching their 2005 live set at Alexandra Palace (here on youtube.) I only collected the odd track before. It's the same with Sasha's album "Scene Delete," it's his Refracted : Live set (also on youtube) that really got me into it. Though I've been a fan of Sasha's since 1998. In both cases though I much prefer the live versions. The last vinyl records I bought were over 20 years ago - Daft Punk - Discovery, Photek Featuring Robert Owens - Mine to Give, Orbital - Funny Break (One Is Enough - the weekend raver's mix is the best) and Frankie Knuckles - Keep On Movin'. I sold them years ago. I'm into CD collecting right now, the most recent purchases were Paul Van Dyk - The Politics of Dancing, and Metalheadz - Platinum Breakz II. Both genres you don't like 😏 (trance and drum & bass.) I'm having fun collecting old CDs at the moment as there's so much good stuff I missed and can get them for £2 - £3. I need a new CD player now.

Interesting, thanks for sharing! Some of the live versions of Fred again’s songs really surprised me. Although I do like both his live and studio versions. I really need to get Daft Punk Discovery on vinyl! But it’s cool you’re into CD collecting at the moment. You can get so much more for your money! I wish records were $2-3 lol. I like some trance and drum & bass, but it depends on the song. I wouldn’t say I love those genres overall.
