For years I wouldn't play his music even though I had the songs given to me by a Fred fan...then slowly I listened to a few...and then a few more...then a few of his songs just got me hooked! This tune, Jericho, John Deere...I kick myself for enjoying him years sooner!

I rarely reply but agree--as close to perfection as you can get. One of my all time favorites not just of Fred's but of the nearly 5000 songs on my various playlists. So poignant and unfortunately, so true in many cases still. And one should see the live version of White Rose by Fred and Willie here on YT.
