Yassss, so this is part 2 of my impossible AU ships. First Robcella in Game of Thrones and second is.. Fred and Hermione in Harry Potter.

STORY:
well... I think the events are like in canon with the exception that around Hermione's 4th year things start to heat up between them. Background events are like in the books. I even wanted to kill off Fred (as you can probably see) but then I decided that they deserve happy ending at least in my vid. So Fred's death is only a nightmare Hermione has during the War. She wakes up and sees Fred by her side. They end up together having happy family (yass pls)

well, Harry Potter fandom is really extra. I believe there exists every possible pairing from this series somwhere out there. Hermione is even more special case, she is being shipped with almost every possible character. I admit I went through multiple fanfics with various Hermione ships, and Fred x Hermione really struck me. I started to think about them and when I think about series (books and movies equally) I see a lot of potential in it. Twins are really witty and overall smart and clever. Being with one of them would be, in my opinion, something really exciting for Hermione. She'd have intelectual stimulation, but also a lot of fun and this bit of thrill and challenge. This whole idea of a Bookworm and a Prankster is a little cliche but at the same time really exciting to me. Why Fred and not George? Well, for me it was mostly the case of paying detiled attention to their scenes. Fred always seemed more attentive towards Hermione. And don't get me wrong - I love canonical Ron x Hermione with my whole heart. I just love to dig other interesting ideas in my vids :)

A lot of it stems from an interview Rowling did shortly after the release of the last movie, commenting on how Hermione and Ron would likely end up needing couples therapy and how she had initially thought of killing off and Ron and having Hermione and Fred together, but decided against as one of the laziest things on author can do is kill off one of their main characters.
