Great to see this. Can't believe how much Herne Bay has changed in just 22 years. I couldn't help chuckling when he said 'You could come out here for a sixpenny bag of coke. Get as much coke as you could carry.' ;)

I think Fred Palmer used to know my father Dereck...we used to live at 121 The Broadway and I believe his wife was a ballet teacher..may be wrong ..but anyway great nostaglic film...thanks and thanks Fred.

mikey p I imagine Fred only made recordings in Herne Bay given it is his home. I have previously been put in touch with his family however with no reply but the videos clips later shared publicly by his family, out of respect I am not going to attempt to contact again unless directed to remove the videos.

My uncle was born on them rocks when it was a muscle farm, that was befor it was washed away, he used to live there.
