Sun -- Fun -- Canvey (1970)

The sun shines for the annual outing to Canvey Island by the residents of the Brandon Estate, Southwark. They pile into coaches and set off for the beach, where the children play on the sand and in the water and the adults sun themselves. At the amusement park, filmmakers Richard Morgan and Brian Waterman ride the roller coaster, bumper cars, and helter skelter, filming the view and the thrill of the ride. Morgan and Waterman were key members of the Brandon Estate Cine Club, whose films are preserved at Southwark Local History Library and Archive.
