I lived in Ludlow Road, Brentham Garden Suburb to give it its official name - from birth in 1949 to 1972. Ludlow Road is literally a stones throw away from the house in Pitshanger Lane where Fred Perry lived, and a similar short distance away from Brentham Club that has been a popular sports and social centre for many years.
