I was just 13 years old when I first heard this song 🎵. It has such a good beat that I just love dancing 💃 to it. I just turned 75 years old and not ashamed of it. I had a great party 🥳 and we all danced to the 50's and 60's music. It was so much fun dancing 💃 to my era. Just loved it ❤.

Had the pleasure of meeting Freddy back in 2004, he was dressed in leather, had given up the dance moves you can see in this vid and gave us a total rock 'n' roll show. Got a selfie with him as well. A proper gentleman and as he was billed then, and still is now, one of the last great rock 'n' rollers. He made / makes some great rock 'n' roll records.

A Rock and Roll Classic from Freddy Cannon called Tallahassie Lassie and it came out in 1959 a great song to listen to from the year 1959

Here's a couple of amazing things. This song was based on a poem written by his mother. She called it Rock n Roll Baby. She wrote all the words to the middle part: she's rompin to the drag, the cha cha rag a mop, stompin to the shag, rocks the bunny hop etc. Amazing! It's all in the book he wrote Where the Action Is. This one record made him a star at age 19. And if you check KZbin, the Stones covered it!
