No other blues guitarist had quite the same effect as Freddie King, and I've pretty much heard them all (all the "great" ones worth hearing, that is). Eric worshipped Freddie.Freddie supported him on his stadium tour of 74 .There was more than one occasion when they shared the stage as a mini set, Freddie completely wiped the floor with him a lot but Eric was drinking heavily at this stage.
