And his last music video was These Are The Days Of The Lives. The 4 core members of Queem are Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon, and Roger Taylor. The video for The Show Must Go On is a compilation of Queen music video's. Also, not all songs are written by Freddie, they're the only band in history where each member has written a number 1 hit. I'm not trying to be bitchy or seem upset, I'm just putting out some Queen facts for anybody interested. Radio GaGa for example was written by Roger Taylor, their drummer.

Yeah, don't worry about any early members. By the time they put out their first album the lineup was set, Freddie, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon and it was that way until Freddie's death in 1991.They all wrote hits for the band and sometimes Brian and Roger would handle lead vocals. It's said that they are the only band where each member wrote at least one top 10 hit for the group.

Of course, they had a band before Freddie called 'Smile', nothing like Queen but still, hence why it worked well. The 'Smile' band was Brian May and Roger Taylor, I think, but I can't fucking remember now. I think it was from Oxford or whatever, they were leftist-types, you know, and, of course, Brian is classically educated, as was Freddie, in fact, May is a very smart guy and was going to become a scientist. I think at one point his band name was a year, a very Oxfordian name or Cambridge, I forget the year.

@@TheClassicWorld Yeah. Brian May is Dr. Brian May, astrophysicist, these days. He started working on the PhD in the early 70s and had to abandon it when Queen took off. He finally got it about 10 years ago or so. Very intelligent man and a'pretty good guitarist!

@@TheClassicWorld - The members of Queen went to school in London, not Oxford or Cambridge. Brian was born in Hampton and studied astronomy at Imperial College in London. Later a PhD in astrophysics. John was born in Leicester in the East Midlands and received an honors degree in electrical engineering at Chelsea College, London. Roger was born at King's Lynn, Norfolk and went to the University of E London for biology. Freddie studied art and graphic design at Ealing College in London. No university degree.

For context…… Freddie was a champion boxer….there is a pic of him with a huge silver trophy….also, on stage he has a boxer’s stance….check it out….did you notice that the interviewer was speaking Portuguese?….Freddie was sent from Zanzibar to India to boarding school….India had been a Portuguese colony…so Freddie could understand what she was saying🤩

Dude there were 4 members of Queen till Died. Sure there were additional musicians, they were not Queen. Adam Lambert and Paul Rogers were part of Queen + so Queen plus another singer.

I don't know if I've ever seen him in an interview,just heard his music all over the place,from years in Michigan,to a move to Texas at 12, then Florida that same summer,then Texas, then Florida,then back to Michigan in a 5 month period,all the while I'd remember his music being present. So I'm a big fan,just never seen him-that I can remember-in an interview. He's as interesting to watch,as he is to hear. Hi! Thank you so much for reacting to my video and for giving me credits! I made that video like 2 years ago and I totally didn't expect it to blow up like it did, I'm still shook becasue it keeps growing! Roger Taylor - Radio Ga Ga - One Vision - These are the days of our lives - A kind of Magic - The Invisible man - Heaven for everyone - Tenement Funster. Some songs were co-written. That is just scratching the surface. They were all top flight musicians who made Queen unique and their live shows electric! All four were also well educated and diverse individuals. It was their four distinct personalities that pulled and pushed each other to be their best and they all liked different styles of music. THAT was what made Queen special.

You mentioned you looked up Queen members somewhere and found, "...like, 20 other members...maybe they were background members or before the the final two guys..". NO. Queen never had any members but Brian, Roger, John and Freddie. That's it. No other people were ever in Queen from beginning to end. Only those 4. Brian and Roger were the founding members tjen Freddie and John came onboard. Freddie came up with the name Queen because he thought it a bad idea yo keep the name " Smile" which was Brian's group with Roger. Freddie said since John and himself were new to the group, they should start off fresh with a whole new name for the band.

Interesting Things Those 3 guys were fly by nighters on bass who were there and gone in an instant, each within a couple months. None of them were on ANY Queen albums. Deacon was with Queen 2 years BEFORE they recorded even their very first album.
