As others have said, I love listening to Freddie talk. He was so 'ordinary', not at all arrogant, but very polite, and every time I listen to him speak, I feel like I discover something new about him. I get such a good feeling about this man, gut instinct I guess, but I feel very strongly that he was a good soul, and had a kind heart. I will always regret not seeing him in a live performance, but through interviews like this, I've learned so much about him. Freddie was a legend, his flame will never burn out, and he will be forever loved by those of us who were priveleged to be alive, while he was. I miss you Freddie, you were truly beautiful, body and soul. xx

@@garibaldistudios5406 You're right, he's the absolute worst. Because Brian, Roger and John Deacon never cheated on their wives. Oh no. In fact no rock n roll star ever cheated on their partners. I suffer from debilitating depression and have been having a really difficult time lately. Freddy passed away when I was 14 years old and because of where I was living, I had no access to Queen's music. As I got older I became more exposed to their music and now even more so than ever. I find myself watching these interviews over and over again, finding new ones, and rewatching ones I've already seen. For a brief period, while I watch him communicate with those conducting the interview or with others, I'm transported from this very dark place and it makes me feel like I can breathe for a moment. Without a better way to explain it, it's like I can literally feel my heart smile, actually form a smile inside my chest, when he's discussing the band, himself, and their future endeavours. Even if it's just for a moment, it helps me to get a break from being in the dark. People like Freddy have passed on while other people who aren't worth a glass of air still walk the earth. It's not fair.

@@ronlil100 If you had a brain you'd know that at the time Freddie contracted HIV doctors themselves admitted that nothing was known about what the disease or how the disease was even transmitted, so they couldn't even advise people on what to do to prevent it. By time they discovered it was sexually transmitted and that condoms were key to reducing exposure, it was already too late for Freddie and many others who died from a disease that literally snuck up on everyone stealthily and almost overnight. KKKLKK very surprising, but I think, it was just about being nice to him and he would too, like not asking stupid questions or talk about his sexuality. Media used to be so annoying and tuff on them that they created a sort of deffense on it.

I love Freddie Mercury, so much. I had just learned about his band. I know that lots of people might say that that is not enough time to love a band and know most of their songs. Well Iv'e written down all of their songs and I love about all of them, that's a true Queen fan. I love all the members in Queen, Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon. They were a really good group to be, I love Queen. I really do.

Мурад Гусейнов believing in something does not make it true. And the reason for you wanting to be in heaven should be because you want to believe in God, but god was proven wrong just like Roman and Greek gods

Мурад Гусейнов well he did say that he doesn't want to be in heaven, hell is much better, so many different people, heaven is boring. He said it in one of his interwievs, don't remember which but he already had short hair and the moustache.

@janhunt5855 жыл бұрын
I find it interesting that Freddie is the one who talks about the technical side of their music, has very deep insight in to making music, how to put it together in the studio, and what works and what doesn't. You see videos of him in the studio and it is always Freddie at the controls instinctively knowing how a song should be put together musically. I know I am amazed at his intelligence of knowing how to bring it all together. And the boys listened and followed his decision. Freddie really was, in many ways, the force behind Queen, not just the lead singer. A true musical genius. And it was Freddie who was the mediator when there was arguing, bringing everyone back to where they needed to be. He was the calming affect. What a unique man and musician. The more I learn about the man, the more I fall in love with him. No wonder Mary fell in love with him. I cry quite frequently watching and listening to him because he isn't here, and that just isn't right. For me, all the music died in 1991. But I am also mad as hell at him for not taking HIV seriously. He didn't need to die, damn it all. We still love and miss you terribly and many of us still cry over you.

well said. you said everything that I have been thinking for years.
@nadiascroce11895 жыл бұрын
@Jan Hunt. You said you were mad at Freddie for not taking HIV seriously. He was diagnosed with AIDS in 1987 and as it takes an average of 10 years for HIV to develop into AIDS (and I think anywhere between 5 and 12 years), he would have contracted the virus before anyone even knew this disease existed.
