Why are so many so hung up on Freddie Mercury's sexuality? Geez!!!! Why does it matter? He was an artist. "Artists make up lies to tell truths". -V for Vendetta. Freddie Mercury was no different. He was beautiful and inspiring and amazing. His bloodline alone was rare. There are only approximately 150k individuals left on the planet with the type of background he had. I love Freddie Mercury. I have since I was a child. Inspiration never dies.

he's adorable! ♥ it was said despite his flamboyant stage persona, Freddie was always very modest and shy mostly around people he didn't know well. I think its cute! He's didn't seem arrogant, he just wanted to to do what he love--make music. He's a very inspiring musician and entertainer with incredible vocals. there won't ever be another like Freddie Mercury. RIP ♥

Aw, so adorably cute. I always knew he was shy in real life, but actually seeing it for yourself is quite another thing. It's like he's Superman onstage and Clark Kent offstage. And I'm surprised the critics gave him any props for his ballet performance, because normally all they did back then was hate incessantly on the poor guy. @MrDarkbloom Which NME interview was that? I've read three of them, and couldn't find that quote anywhere in them.

Get your facts straight! Being gay is not being a pedophile. The world needs to be educated. Sexual preference is a private subject and humans all fall in a wide spectrum from hetero, bi, to being homosexual/lesbian. When is the world going to stop judging people on their sexual orientation? Let's respect each other for whatever God made us, and honour and celebrate the gifts that we bring into this life. Freddie's gift of music was enormous, and we can enjoy it and love him for that!
