Did you notice Freddie, Roger and Freddie's friend Peter dressed as the backing singers?

I love Roger and Peter Freestone just makes me laugh all the time

That is Peter Straker in drag with Freddie & Roger. Peter has been a leading light in British musical theatre for over 50 years, in many popular productions. He even played the phantom in Phantom of the Opera. Which reminds me to ask for a reaction to Peter's Heart Be Still, produced by Freddie. It is fabulous!
@Motown-19665 жыл бұрын
Karolyn Hoover 💁🏾♀️ AND Peter Straker’s voice was one of a few Freddie actually admited to envying ✌🏾!
@Motown-19665 жыл бұрын
Deaky's girl...Gurl you’ve gone and mixed-up Peter Freestone (Phoebe or Feebie as Freddie phonetically spelled it on his Mr. Bad Guy LP dedication section) with Peter Straker (Serena) 😂

I think also "The Fallen Priest" shows off his vocal range pefectly, possibly even more so than barcelona. Also, they are on the same album.

his best vocals are also in The Show Must Go On, Bohemian Rhapsody, Barcelona, any of his and or Queens songs

I was hoping you wouldn't get TOO mad at your neighbor & upset yourself but laughed out loud when you yelled toward the window "Freddie Mercury's on!". I love that you appreciate that God-given voice of Freddie's. I think you'd like "Let Me In Your Heart Again". Kind of a ballad but with a lot of life in it.💙

Fantastic! Great song especially for Freddie! I mean he just says it to everyone He is pretending. He has always been a real person, just not accepted into the real world because of his ethnicity, sexual orientation, or whatever. I love Freddie's courage! Great reaction, thanks!

Such a gem! I highly suggest you check out the behind the scenes clip/making of this video, the dressing room banter is both hilarious and heartening to see Freddie, Roger and Peter picking out drag outfits and having a blast! I miss your Queen reactions. I recommend modern times rock and roll or ogre battle.

I see you never reacted to Queen at Live Aid in 1985. Its a must see! It has been named the number one live rock performance EVER! Queen wasn't even on the playbill when it sold out so it wasn't even a Queen crowd but Freddie brought the house down and stole the show. Please watch Live Aid!

I love this song and I prefer this version when Freddie sings it. And this music video weirdly makes me SOO nostalgic, even though I wasn't born until 1986 lol. There's a video with the making of this when they're all having fun and seems to be having such a good time and it makes me so warm and happy to see because he had been diagnosed not that long ago by that time. So this was probably a really fun good distraction for him ❤. It's a cover and he obviously didn't write it, but it still fits him. How he had to pretend and hide stuff about his life, like his sexuality for example, and stuff.

Spread Your Wings, Innuendo, March of the Black Queen, Scandal, Living on my Own(Freddie single) are underrated Queen songs that you should definitely react to!!!! But before those....... The Show Must Go On!!!!!!!! Definitely worth it.
@proudarmymom86575 жыл бұрын
Also another song that has him showing a completely different sound to his voice is “I Want It All” he comes out this is more back to their rock they’re performing this in 1989 Mercury has some more weight on his body probably do the medication he was on for his aids before he started to lose the weight as he got sicker but some of his best music is from their last album called innuendo! But anyway this song “I want it all” he gives you this deep raspy voice again completely different sound tone! After you’ll really want to check out his album innuendo and react to a lot of those songs because Freddy I think there’s some of his best singing and the videos were put together later since he sang them as he was dying but when you hear him sing you would not know that he was on his deathbed again showing just what a fantastic performer he was and just an overall fantastic person!! RIP FREDDIE 💔🙏🏻

BillyYouSoCrazy, I love your reaction to this great old song as it's done by Freddie Mercury and I also love this version. Think you would also like the original, please check it out. It's by The Platters, a fab group from the '50s who had tons of airtime with many songs, but this was probably their biggest hit. They were 4 handsome guys and a beautiful gal all with great voices, especially the lead singer - if you ever hear it by them, you will love it too!

Could you react to Peter Straker (with Freddie Mercury) - Heart Be Still, the David R. Fuller one? Freddie produced it & sang backup. It's an old gospel tune, Peace Be Still, reworked with different lyrics. You'll get a taste of what Freddie was talking about when he praised Peter's singing. He really has a great theatrical voice. & his range is astronomical. I'm quite sure you will be impressed. His family was from one of the Caribbean Islands, Jamaica or Barbados, don't remember.

If you want to hear a really great song which not a lot of people would probably say is that great but it’s got a really cool beat to it it’s not exactly something the rest of the band except for John Deacon who wrote this song wanted to be a part of but when you hear Freddie Mercury‘s voice singing this song “Cool Cat” you are going to be completely shocked you will swear it is not mercury singing but in fact it actually is and their bases John Deacon wrote the song it’s completely different from anything that ever done but it’s actually got a really cool beat hey doesn’t hurt to try it so please give it a try! Thank you!
