I went in 1992 before those fences were above the wall and I got a leaf from one of his trees. I've since lost it!! You got a gr8 view inside, very lucky opportunity.

i was there 3 weeks after he passed away, it was a freezing cold december day, i came down from morayshire in scotland with my then girlfriend and i stood outside that door in my day at the races black t-shirt, i saw one of his cats (the stripey ginger one) and as i went to stroke it ran off into his garden, rest in peace our dear freddie 👑✊🇬🇧

Black Roses yeah i think he seemed like a really private guy. He wouldnt want everyone in his house looking at his stuff i think. If a museum was ever made for him it would probably be a separate building with some of his clothes/ memorabilia etc

I understand the curiosity and urge to see what used to be his home but I imagine like Freddie, Mary is a very private person and must feel somewhat uncomfortable to having people constantly filming at her home where she and her family still live. We all know what this house looked and looks like. As Freddie said "It's a Hard Life" for Mary and her sons. I think it's called Invasion of Privacy. I'm glad she did not turn it into a museum. Freddie meant her to have it as a "home" for her and her two sons one of which is his godson.

The car parking is off to the right of the property on the ground floor of the next door mews property. Freddie owned the next door property too. In this video you can briefly see a blue garage door. If you look on Google earth, there are 3 garage doors. The mews house had access to the garden lodge via a set of french doors that opened onto the garden of garden lodge. The mews house had the garages, recording studio and extra guest accommodation. Freddy could drive apparently but wasn't really interested so employed a driver. He owned a Mercedes sedan, but this seems to be kept at the driver's house. According to Freddie's autobiography, the 3 garages were just filled with stuff Freddie didn't have room for in the house.
