@@leonhulk2638 And I thought your response of simply calling me a tw@ was childish and immature. But this one is far more childish and, I have to say, quite funny. _"Come on let's meet up".🤣_ How old are you Leon, 7? This is a global website. Do you really want to spend around £720 on a return flight to meet me? And what do you suppose would happen even if we did meet? Would ickle Leon _'fight me'_ for saying nasty things about a nasty comedian from the 1980's? Grow up son!

@@michaelmacluskie6089 From wherever he is in the UK to where I am in the world. Given you can still get a return ticket from the UK to India, China, the whole of the EU, the Middle East... in fact around 76% of the whole world from the UK for £720, I'm sure he could do it. I seriously doubt he could afford Economy Plus though, let alone Business Class. I'm sure he could get here somehow. But as it used to say on his school reports, _"He just doesn't try and is too easily distracted."_ No doubt the same could be said of 98.6% of Freddie Starr fans. It's why they never get on in the world, and moan and whinge about everything, and how their lives turned out so crappy. Ah well. As the Roman's used to say; _"Oh mei miserum!"_😉

@@leonhulk2638 I'd quite happily have a grown-up discussion with you about Freddie Starr, but I genuinely don't think you'd be interested in that based on your replies Leon. For example, everything I've said about him is true and well-documented. And by that I don't mean in the gutter press, I'm talking about what came out in court and what is now part of official legal documentation held by the court system. Legal transcripts. So why do you think it's me that's the tw@ rather than Freddie Starr? All I've done is reminded people of the straightforward facts. Yes he was funny in the early 80's, but that doesn't make up for, or excuse who he was as an individual. Simply calling me a tw@ is hardly a grown-up response.

@@michaelmacluskie6089 I'm just stating the facts Michael, the *documented* facts. Are you seriously suggesting we should forgive him for *everything* because he had a talent of making people laugh (which I don't disagree with by the way). Is your idea of addressing child abuse, wife abuse and cocaine abuse etc to simply brush it all under the carpet and pretend it never happened? Let people get away with murder simply because they were great on stage? If so I completely disagree with you. Likewise, I do not believe you can separate or compartmentalise one person in the way so many people seem keen to do on this thread. Should we excuse Dr Harold Shipman of his crimes because he always played a great 'ugly sister' in the local panto? Should we excuse the murderer of Jo Cox MP because he also happened to be a really good cook? Where does the stupidity end?

Let it be mate, other peoples past is best forgotten....try looking for similar people who do these bad things and that are still alive and do something about them and then I would agree with your comments.

Excellent comedian, top class singing, sadly missed quality of entertainment, instead of the crass crap on British tv today

After seeing this I am wondering if there was an element of his style that Billy Idol took. They have similar looks and Freddie's lip did curl slightly on the right. Not just for the Elvis impression and my god I never knew he could sing that amazingly either! I only knew the comedy version of that last song where he pretended he couldn't reach the notes. I must have been about 5 or 6 I think....

Liverpool and the whole country lost another funny man R.I.P Freddie Starr sadly missed... Your friends should be ashamed when they turned their backs, now you are with Sir Ken Dodd in the clouds, driving St Peter mad with pure Scouse humour
