This really is a line up of legendary comedians and comedy actors from their 70s heyday...this video is an important slice of TV history.

Norman’s microphone seems to be working OK! Les Dawson’s monologue of one liners was always the highlight of this show.

Starr became drunk on his own fame and ego and often was insufferable but on form he was a genius. His Mick Jagger impression was brilliant and very funny.

People can't communicate like they could in that era. It's a lost art

Well, thats weird. A Yorkshire Television programme, with a Tyne Tees Television countdown board at the start 😂 Clearly, they're still trying to get a slice of Granada's northern comic ratings 😅

Yorkshire and Tyne Tees were part of Trident Television back in the 1970s; but I do agree, it does seem strange to use a TTTV clock on a YTV production (unless this was recorded in Newcastle)?
