Elvis impersonators make a lot of money around the world but freddie had a natural singing voice WOW he had some voice and his impersonations were top class it's such a pity about his last few years life is so short he is a prime example he had great days and bad days but his comedy legacy should not be forgot he was unpredictable but that's what gave him the edge that made him special.

There are a lot of comics out there who have to try to be funny but freddie Starr was a naturally funny man.I can't understand some of the comics today there just not funny one person laughs oh it must be funny so somebody else does Freddy star made everyone laugh genuine comedy genuine laughter

Freddie Starr eh? A bloody genius. He loved being him and he loved the adulation of his audiences. There's stuff in here which for sheer original hilarity far outstrips quite a lot of the sanitised, monotonous drivel we're fed today.

freddie was the best and in my day, i would do impersonations, along with other lads, we had a laugh, especially as the impressions we did some were good others so bad they were funnier than the impression we tried to do, the only things kids want to replicate now, is gangsters, shooting people, knifing people to death, what a childhood that must be, poor sods, back to freddie, he was amazing, he looked well back in the day, I think freddie went wrong, when he tried to change his comedy in to adult material, which didnt work for him, A massive talent which ebbed away, Freddie will now be in heaven impersonating God, Moses, John the baptist. RIP our huyton VIP
