I found anything over around 33 degrees stats to become uncomfortable. A few summers ago we had 8 days over 40 ( WAY TO HOT TO RIDE ) great engine the V4 in the Ducati . In the hot weather mate get a small camel back , as you can drink as you ride if required.apparently you haven’t had a very good summer. Come to Australia for ours coming up mate 👍

@@davidhall2298…. What GS do you have? I have a Bonny T120 and love it but wanted something larger for trips. What size GS do you have? I found a 2022 1250GS that I loved and almost bought, but it was just so large that I couldn’t see myself using it for anything other than longer trips. I wanted something smaller than 1250GS but still adventure bike platform. I did a test ride on a new F750GS. Ended up buying it. After adding full wind protection, I fell in love with the bike. It did take me some time to get comfortable with the larger size but after a couple months I can maneuver the GS and whip it around as well as my T120 and there’s no doubt that I feel a little safer on highways and interstates on the GS.

Westport and Cong are well worth seeing as is a drive through the Inagh vally out past Kilemoor. Co's Mayo and Sligo will then take you up towards Donegal...the music and the welcome is/are not to be missed. You'll probably be glad of the Wrangler for its roof mind, the weather, even in August can be a shocker!...also be sure to sample the Guinness, (obvs), oysters a full Irish and a decent Irish Stew (not all at the same time). @FreddieDobbs as others, have said Freddie, these large adventure touring machines almost don't feel like motorcycles anymore. They have so much technology and rider assistance features that it removes that feel of riding we all love. That's why I love my rebel 500. It's simple, minimal technology, but modern as well. On a further note, technology wise, I really hope petrol powered motorcycles won't be banned in 2035 along with cars. I feel one of the biggest thrills of riding is that engine sound. From the reading I've done, it seems that they might be excempt due to the extremely low emissions they put out. Anyway, I'm rambling. Love, what you're doing, Freddie, keep up the good work, and remember, keep the rubber side down.
