Love the Cub Freddy .l. Oh that red Citroen wow my uncle had one in France he used to pile his kids my brother and I into Late sisties early 70s.. fitting my billet indicators to mr Speedmaster this week.. The de-cat was a major success. Anyone that owns a Speedmaster don’t think about it just do it.. throttle response is butter smooth as is the throttle response, best of all it runs so cool now fans hardly comes on. Best best is the deep rumble sounds like a spitfire😀😀😀😀😀🤗 and not silly loud this is on the stock cans.

Ipswich! I had no idea - perception changed. It’s even got a marina. You’re a one man tourist board 😂👍. My only knowledge of the place previously was it had a football team that i remember from my panini sticker book as a kid and Alan Partridge introducing “Ipswich based hotel lobby wine-bar band, Glenn Ponder and Lazarus” 😂 top work again. 😎

My late Uncle Ivan lived in Colchester. Wolsey Probate and Anglia Research in Ipswich is handling his affairs right now. I had never paid attention to anything Ipswich and there you were less than a mile from people I'm having dealings with.. Here I am in Austin, Texas. I do Google Earth but you and Monika make it fun touring with music and all. Learn so much about bikes and gear too. Now at my age I wont pick up a bike, too accident prone, but sure do enjoy yall's talents and adventures. We're salmon lovers so I understand the fresh salmon Monika's Mum's cat needs. Take care and loved your red sofa chat.

Loved the Sutton Hoo ship! My great-grandfather worked on a similar excavation during the fascist regime in Italy: the ships of Nemi. You can even see him in action in some videos on youtube (no kidding, old Pathé and Luce footage). Those ships came out of the mud, then got burnt in a fire ☹. Thanks for another great and chill video!

I learnt how to ride a motorcycle going around a field on a Honda Cub, or "plastic rat" as they were nicknamed back then. "Placki-rat" in local parlance. A lot of teachers used them to commute back in the day, especially biology teachers with beards. Not a lot of people know that....

Hi , a really relaxing video from Freddie and Monika , once again , there is always some thing of interest , pointed out on the places visited . One big mistake I made was not learning to sail , as the wind is free , our rib does about 3 miles to a gallon cruising nearly as expensive to run as a small white cats dinner , for heaves sake do not tell the cat there is a difference between , farmed and fresh line caught salmon . LOL . Our 3 cats get a lecture if they leave their food , and told cats in other parts of the world are starving and would give a hind leg for that , to no avail , they just sit there and Bumble mutters , not this again . Happy birthday to Monika , how about an up grade to the cushion for a present ? Ride and stay safe , enjoy and thank you for the video .

Such a coincidence - quite a few of my teachers also drove Deux Chevaux as well as Honda Cubs. Ranging from a long haired hippy music teacher to, you guessed it, the biology teachers with beards.... :-D

Great stuff as always....Making a list from all these videos of where to visit on my bike. Sorry to have pointed out the indicator cancelling to you! Personally I've embraced it, I'd rather get repetitive strain injury than have someone pull out on me due to a false signal.

Freddie you could have been sat at a café in a Mediterranean marina so cool and I remember my first bike on the road was a what we called Honda 50 step through and that new cub basically looks the same style mine had a dual seat and a straight through exhaust but I had some great fun on her I actually swapped an Ariel 200 two stroke for it when I was 15 because the Ariel was to big as I had never ridden on the road .Wow if only I still had either and that coat is sooo spoilt . Great watch whilst having my breakfast on a Sunday morning cheers : )

Great video was watching it at 07:10 this morning getting ready to go out on the rebel 1100. I took note of the lock and chain you got from B&Q and I'm going to have a look see what they have. Also ordered soft saddle bags from sw motech for the rebel soft bags look great on the triumph. I'm not sure I can afford to keep watching your videos.

If we ever get anymore hot sunny days I'll have a ride out to Ipswich, the marina looks a nice spot for a coffee. Do they still have a speedway team in the town? I was a big fan of the sport growing up in the 60's but there's not many teams left in England now.

Shame about the Africa Twin. The brand new Africa Twin Adventure like that one that was pushed over starts from £14,649 with no extras.... That one had a top box, crash bars, spot lights and a touring screen alone would have been 15k. Tragic. The base Africa Twin DCT I reviewed around Wales started at £13,949. Very pricy bikes. But well worth it. Great for all terrains.

Honda Cubs are awful to ride in my opinion. It's the heel / toe gearchange. 8:31 2CV6 alert: I have owned two, plus a Dyane. I really like the simple dash on your bike, Freddie. Particularly the warning light cluster. I like that overshirt. Interesting video. Ipswich looks a nice place. Only been through it once. On my R1100GS in about '98.

Don't use one disc lock but two, either side of the brake calliper so it reduces chances of your bike being dragged. Also use one on the rear disc if space. Use disc locks with motion alarms attached. Also use an Abus D lock Granite Plus short one through the front wheel spokes and brake discs. Always park next to a nicer more expensive bike so thieves will target this instead of your bike. Fit a tracker. Or as you say have a bike that on the face of it doesn't look like it is worth much. Some one who buys a brand new Africa Twin to ride around London needs their head examined.
