Lazing on a Sunday afternoon - it was a beautiful afternoon and evening this past Sunday, November 24th. That, 33 years after his passing, we can still come together in solidarity to honor our musical hero Freddie Mercury and celebrate his life with more than 100 fans from around the world is, and always will be, deeply moving.
We look back on a very successful event with a delicious four-course dinner, a wonderful performance by Jordan Trey and Mark Smit, and a fantastic acoustic closing concert by Mother Mercury. The story shared by Monique Montenarie from the AIDS Fund was impressive, as was Peter Freestone’s tribute, who, as every year, introduced the moment of silence for Freddie in a special way.
